The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms trade, is pleased to announce that Winchester Ammunition has agreed to sponsor the inaugural NSSF Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp at the Bronze level. Celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, Winchester Ammunition is an American manufacturer of handgun, rifle and shotgun ammunition serving consumer, law enforcement and military markets.
“Having a company with a century and a half of history behind it join us as a sponsor of this inaugural Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp is a very exciting thing indeed,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “We’re expecting to make our own history with this event, and Winchester’s partnership will go a long ways towards supporting that success.”
“This is a great opportunity to support an NSSF initiative that benefits the shooting sports community,” said Brett Flaugher, Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Strategy for Winchester Ammunition. “Winchester is one of the most relevant brands among shooters worldwide, and we continue to showcase our innovative products at events year round.”
Modeled after the success of similarly designed events in the race car and major league baseball industries, NSSF’s inaugural Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp features a full weekend of shooting instruction for just 30 guests from some of the most notable names in professional shooting, including Julie Golob, Jerry and Kay Clark Miculek, Jessie Duff, Diana Muller and K.C. Eusebio. The Clark County Shooting Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, will be the host range for the event, which will take place from March 31 to April 2. In addition to the weekend of shooting, the 2016 NSSF Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp includes transportation to and from McCarren Airport to and from the shooting range and the host hotel, Aliante Casino + Hotel, all meals from the time each guests arrives, a swag bag full of some of today’s best shooting gear, evening cocktail receptions, and more.
