“BOWTECH knows that great hunters come from all walks of life. We are proud to have Steve on our pro staff and we look forward to working with him as he shares his love of bowhunting and the outdoors with racing fans,” said Samuel Coalson, Director of Marketing for BOWTECH.
Torrence completed the 2012 season, his first racing in the sport’s Top Fuel category, with a prestigious top-10 finish in the world rankings. When not behind the wheel, Torrence is an avid hunter despite not taking up the pursuit until he was 23-years-old.
“There is something very natural and primal about using a bow,” Torrence said. “I really enjoy the challenge that bow hunting presents. There are so many things that have to be right in order to succeed, the wind, the target range and of course the equipment. That is why I choose BOWTECH.”
Torrence’s most memorable hunt to date was a four-day adventure in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Steve landed his first mountain lion using a BOWTECH Insanity™ on difficult terrain in altitudes above 9,000 feet.
The BOWTECH Pro Staff includes accomplished hunters, expert archers and outdoor/sports celebrities who share their bowhunting experiences and expertise at events and on hunts throughout the world.
