Tom Gresham Recognized as Gun Rights Defender of the Year

Gresham created his national broadcast about guns in 1995, and the show currently runs on more than 240 radio stations as well as being distributed through a number of digital channels. The podcast of the live show gets more than four million downloads a year.

“This caught me completely by surprise,” said Tom Gresham. “The Citizen’s Committee has been a leader in Second Amendment education, and it’s an incredible honor to receive this from that group.”

The award is inscribed “… in recognition and appreciation for his tireless efforts on behalf of the Second Amendment rights of all Americans.”

“It’s rare that I can render a talk show host speechless,” joked CCRKBA founder Alan Gottlieb after announcing Gresham’s award at the GRPC luncheon. “No one deserves this more than Tom, who reaches millions of people with the message of responsible gun ownership and the meaning of the Second Amendment.”

The Gun Rights Policy Conference will be held in Chicago in 2018
