Sportsman Channel’s lineup – covering lifestyle, adventure, news-talk, travel, food and survival –features the vast passions and interests of outdoor enthusiasts across the country. The network’s focus on the No.1 big game animal this fall – whitetail deer – will highlight a Saturday and Sunday evening programming block.

More than 60 new episodes in the fourth quarter are dedicated to whitetail deer, headlined by fan-favorite shows: Winchester’s World of Whitetail, North American Whitetail, Whitetail Properties, Realtree’s Monster Bucks, Full Draw Adventures – featuring episodes of the largest buck ever taken on film, and Destination Whitetail – featuring a special episode with Ted & Shemane Nugent. In case that isn’t enough whitetail action, Racksgiving is returning November 26-29 with 23 hours dedicated to big buck hunts from the most remote and amazing places on earth.
Additionally, the fall lineup of 345 new episodes means 170 hours of new programming from returning favorites: Meat Eater with Steven Rinella, Gun It! with Benny Spies, On Your Own Adventures and Whitetail SLAM. Plus, Personal Defense TV, Addictive Fishing and Boddington Experience are returning with all-new seasons.
On November 11, the network will air Veteran’s Day vignettes, sponsored by Bravo Company, honoring and recognizing the U.S. servicemen and women as they take to the outdoors for recreation and rehabilitation. During this day, selected episodes will feature field adventures with veteran or current active military personnel. The day is hosted by Larry Vickers, who has spent more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, most recently in Delta Force. Additionally, the network will air messages from active military men and women in the field throughout the world courtesy of the Department of Defense.
Other Q4 Highlights Include:
- Bowhunter TV (Two-part series) – Argentina! Back by popular demand, NFL defensive end Justin Tuck of the New York Giants joins Bowhunter TV host Mike Carney as they travel to the southern hemisphere to take advantage of Argentina’s red stag roar and to hunt a wide variety of other big game in the country’s grass-covered Cerro Colorado foothills. Do not miss Tuck use his All-Pro football skills when he has to face off with a massive water buffalo at pointblank range. The two-part series airs October 4 and 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
- Benny Runs Wild (New Series) – Benny Jaksick is not an ordinary kid – he’s an extraordinary young boy with an incredible drive and unquenchable thirst for the outdoors. At age 10, he is a black belt in karate, a notable marksman and has his first Grand Slam. He’s just getting warmed up. Benny travels the world with his dad to hunt big game and demonstrate to other kids the beauty of the outdoors. Benny Runs Wild premieres October 5 at 5 p.m. ET/PT.
- Meet the McMillans – Country music singer Trent Williams visits Tom McMillan for an early-season whitetail buck hunt. After making a detour to Reno for the National Reigned Cowhorse Championships, the two men get back to the business of hunting a big buck at McMillan Outfitting. The episode airs October 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
- MeatEater – The award-winning show with host Steven Rinella is back with all new episodes from across the United States and Mexico. Rinella’s javelina and coyote hunt in the Sonoran Desert is “must viewing.” The host and friend, Remi Warren, use new tactics to attract javelinas, as well as hunt coyote with the intent of roasting a whole animal. Viewers will NOT believe their eyes. This is just one of the many new episodes featured throughout the season. MeatEater premieres October 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
