QDMA Presents 2017 Ambassador Award to Stu Lewis of S.C.

Lewis is a QDMA Life Member and certified in all three levels of the organization’s Deer Steward program. He manages his property, Cedar Ridge Plantation, by closely following the principles outlined in the Level I and II courses. He earned Level III of Deer Steward through his long-term service to QDMA.

Joe Hamilton, QDMA’s Founder, said Lewis’s property is one of the best managed in the Southeast. Hamilton said he truly admires Lewis’s charismatic personality and his devotion to educate others about wildlife management.

“Attend any function or event with this gentleman and he is the spark plug that incites enthusiasm, dedication, and support for the QDMA,” Hamilton said. “He is the caliber of person we treasure as a teammate, and one whom we recognize as a true QDMA Ambassador.”

Previous recipients of the Ambassador Award include Judge Holdfold of North Carolina in 2008, Peter J. Stuart of Australia in 2010, and Chip West of Delaware in 2014.
