On March 14, Zeke, who also serves as Pastor of the Heartland Evangelical Free Church in Central City, Nebraska, was asked to open the U.S. House of Representatives in prayer (video). The next day, Pipher, his wife and kids, and Gilmer met outside the National Archives for an official presentation. Joining them for the occasion was U.S. Representative Adrian Smith (R) from the Pipher’s home state of Nebraska.
“It was a tremendous honor to meet Zeke, his family, and Representative Smith,” Gilmer said, “and an even greater privilege to present the awards to Zeke in person.”
POMA’s Pinnacle Awards, presented annually by POMA and title partner Mossy Oak, honor the best works of POMA members in six categories: book, art/illustration/photo, magazine, newspaper/web, broadcast, and conservation.
