29 October 2019 – Longtime POMA member and Pinnacle award winner Allan R. Smith is proud to announce the acquisition of Epic Tactical, one of the leading blogs in the firearms & tactical industry which is celebrating its 10th year in business.

Life works in mysterious ways and through ancestry.com I acquired my birth family that I never knew I had.  If that was not enough, a friend presented his company for sale.  Already running a successful business “Pipe Hitter Media” I wasn’t actively looking to purchase another company. However, I had written for Epic Tactical in the past and knew some of the key players in the space, so I agreed to purchase it.

As they say, I knew the perfect team to run it and kick it up a notch, so along with my new cousin Kelly Sheffler and her husband Randy Sheffler, both retired from law enforcement, the perfect team has been established to build upon one of the oldest and most respected blog sites in the firearms & tactical industry.  Together with new writers, we look to rebuild and rebrand Epic Tactical into a thriving online T&E site for honest reviews and interviews with some of the most respected names in the industry.
