Otis announces changes in management, with Leonard Puzzuoli being named Otis’s new CEO, Harold Philbrick is the new Vice President of Operations, and James Brooker has assumed the role of Vice President of Engineering, Research and Development.

Otis Technology is pleased to announce the appointment of Leonard Puzzuoli to the position of Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2014. Mr. Puzzuoli succeeds Otis founder, President and CEO Doreen Garrett in this role. Ms. Garrett founded the company in 1985 and Otis has since grown to be the premier brand of gun cleaning equipment in the sporting goods, US military, and law enforcement markets. Ms. Garrett will remain on Otis Technology’s Advisory Board.

Mr. Puzzuoli had served as Chief Financial Officer at Otis since 2009. Ms. Garrett states, “We are pleased and excited to have Len in this key leadership role.  We welcome the strengths he brings in financial leadership, strategic planning, and positioning the company for continued growth.”  Mr.  Puzzuoli commented, “I recognize the responsibilities and challenges ahead of us, and look forward to guiding Otis in our next phase of growth. We are excited to continue to exceed our customers’ needs and expectations. I appreciate the confidence the Advisory Board has shown in me and the entire Otis team.”

In a related move, Otis Technology has promoted Harold Philbrick to the position of Vice President of Operations. In this role, Mr. Philbrick is responsible for leading the manufacturing, warehousing, quality assurance, and materials teams. He previously held the position of Director of Operations and has been with Otis since July, 2009.

Additionally, James Brooker has assumed the role of Vice President of Engineering, Research and Development. He leads the R & D team in Otis’ Phoenix, NY-based Engineering Center of Excellence. Mr. Brooker has been with Otis Technology since September 2009 and formerly held the position of Director of Engineering.
