Otis Technology will debut several new products at the 2015 SHOT Show. Along with adding three sizes to the Ripcord product line, the new Star Chamber Cleaning Tool effectively cleans the star chamber of AR-style rifles. The tradition of manufacturing the most advanced cleaning systems available continues.
Otis Technology is excited to announce several new products for 2015 debuting at the SHOT Show on January 20th – 23rd in Las Vegas.
Otis has expanded the Ripcord® product line by adding three new sizes – .243 cal/6.5mm, .270 cal/6.8mm and 12 ga. The Ripcord® one pass cleaning tool was introduced in August 2013 and quickly became a top selling product. Its Nomex® fiber coating and unique shape make for an aggressive 360 degree cleaning – properly from Breech-to-Muzzle®. The Ripcord® can be used at any angle or orientation, making cleaning a breeze.
“Since the introduction of the Ripcord®, we’ve been overwhelmed by the success of the product line. This year, we’re proud to introduce two new rifle calibers as well as a solution for 12 gauge shotgun cleaning,” states Frank Devlin, National Sales Manager.
In addition to the Ripcord®, Otis has added another tool to their product offering – the Star Chamber Cleaning Tool. Available in 5.56mm and 7.62mm, this tool quickly and effectively cleans the star chamber area of MSR/AR style rifles.

Lastly, Otis will be debuting two new forms of ear protection. The Ear Shield offers all the benefits of electronic ear protection without the bulk or the batteries. It is available with an NRR of 26dB or 31dB. Additionally, Otis has partnered with Flugz® to offer a formable ear plug. This newly patented product provides comfortable, reliable and affordable hearing protection.
