Members of the outdoor press as well as SHOT attendees are invited to a special meet & greet event hosted by The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Booth L337.
The event begins at 2:00 p.m., directly across the hall from the SHOT Show Press Room.
Featured guests will include newly elected NMLRA President Rebecca “Becky” Waterman — the first woman to serve in that post in the group’s 80-year history — and Morgan Mundell, newly appointed NMLRA Managing Director.
Becky was raised by a mother and father who were active NMLRA members, so one might suspect she has muzzle loading — and the NMLRA — in her blood. She grew up as an avid hunter, target shooter, rendezvous participant and angler. As the new NMLRA President she wants to see that all she has enjoyed preserved for future generations.
Mundell comes to the NMLRA with 15 years of experience in both public and private sector association management and public policy analysis.
Prior to his appointment with NMLRA, he held the position of Deputy Director of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA), where he performed development, fundraising and membership duties.
Before his work with the NLGA, Mundell served as Executive Director of the Joint Committee on Capital Improvements and Leases Oversight for the Missouri state legislature.
