The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) selected Boat Ed® to develop and deliver its online courses for marine law enforcement and emergency first responders. NASBLA’s training and credentialing through its Boat Operations and Training program is recognized as the national standard by the U.S. Coast Guard.
“By providing a portion of training online, we can offer a high-quality education while reducing the number of travel days and costs for students and their agencies,” said John Johnson, CAE, executive director of NASBLA. “During a time when travel restrictions are becoming more common, online training can help us handle the increased demand for training and improve our course offerings.”
In 2013, Boat Ed will deliver five online Boat Operations and Training program courses: 1) Boating Accident Investigation 2) Navigation Rules 3) GPS Forensics 4) Boat Crew Member 5) Boat Operator Search and Rescue.
