Simmons joins Leupold after some 32 years of experience in a variety of industries, including shipbuilding, nuclear energy, equipment fabrication and aerospace. Most recently, he was the VP of Engineering, Quality and Operations for Climax Portable Machining and Welding Systems. Simmons holds a Business Administration degree from Warner Pacific College and an MBA from George Fox University. He is a lifelong hunter and shooter, having begun these pursuits as a teenager.
