Responding to an outcry from fans and the outdoor industry, Jim Zumbo is back at the blogger’s keyboard. Jim Zumbo – Everything Outdoors was launched in connection with the unveiling of Zumbo’s new website and online store. He will blog about his adventures as he crisscrosses the globe hunting, fishing and speaking.

“I’ve been an outdoor writer all my adult life, and I’m excited to get back into the routine of writing on a regular basis,” Zumbo said. “I think writing is a calling that you never really can leave behind. I’m looking forward to getting back into it through my blog.”

Zumbo’s 50-plus years of outdoor experience will educate and inspire others to pursue their passions.  In his blog, he will share how-to tips through posts and short videos on various topics including hunting, fishing, survival techniques, camping, game processing, and outdoor cooking to name a few. Zumbo also will share thrilling encounters, gee-whiz facts and useful knowledge in his signature entertaining manner.

Zumbo’s online store features many of his books, still available in print, including Amazing Venison Recipes cookbook, To Heck with Elk, Deer, and Moose Hunting, and his favorite, Portraits of Elk Hunting, a coffee-table book focused on the hunt as seen through Zumbo’s camera and words. Plans to add e-books and additional products also are underway.

In addition to the new blog, website and store, Zumbo will continue to increase his social media efforts through Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

 

Jim Zumbo is the former hunting editor for Outdoor Life magazine, a book author, television show host and seminar speaker. Zumbo received the POMA/NSSF 2014 Grits Gresham Shooting Sports Communicator Award and is a founding and current POMA board member.
