Firearms historian, museum professional, and POMA member Logan Metesh saw a gap in the podcast market and decided to fill it.
"There are plenty of podcasts out there about firearms and history, but very few that focus on firearms history," says Logan.
That's why he decided to launch the High Caliber History Podcast, named after his company. He describes the show as one "for enthusiasts about firearms, history, museums, and more, with a goal of providing an understanding of what it’s like to work with these items in an environment that is becoming less and less accepting of the scholarship and work being done in this field."
Guests on the show so far have included curators from the Royal Armouries and the J.M. Davis Museum, as well as independent historians and authors specializing in Middle Eastern arms, British weaponry of WWII, movie firearms, and more.
New episodes are released weekly and can be found on your favorite platform by searching for "High Caliber History."
