HAWK Highlights New SAFETREAD Ladderstand Technology

HAWK prepares to unveil their all-new line of ladderstands at the upcoming ATA Show in Nashville, Tennessee on January 6, 2014.

HAWK prepares to unveil their all-new line of ladderstands at the upcoming ATA Show in Nashville, Tennessee on January 6, 2014.

HAWK Ladderstands will be featuring the never-seen-before SafeTread Ladder Step technology (Patent Pending).  SafeTread is an extra-wide, oversized step with aggressive boot grip and is the foundation of all HAWK Ladderstands.

“Many hunters, young and old, have resorted to ladder stands as their preferred hunting platform for safety and climbing convenience,” says Hawk President Scott Lee. “We’ve taken that safe feeling and ease of climbing to the next generation with SafeTread™, which feels more like climbing on a step ladder rung or a set of industrial slip-proof stairs.”

Combine SafeTread with Hawk ladderstands’ large oversized oval tubing construction and exclusive grab handles at the top of the ladder, nothing has felt so solid and safe to climb.  “A majority of traditional ladder rungs utilize standard 1” tubing,” says Chief Engineer Rob Butcher.  “To design our new ladders, we looked at the best technology out there for safe climbing, especially in situations when it can be wet, muddy and even snow and ice. The SafeTread provides more grip for your boot in all conditions.”

HAWK’s all- new line of ladderstands featuring SafeTread Ladder Steps will be available at most major sporting good retailers in 2014. To learn more about HAWK’S newly launched line of products, visit booth 3055 at ATA 2014 or visit www.facebook.com/HAWKgear.
