In only three weeks, radio and TV host Tom Gresham has delivered more than 6,000 new life members to the NRA, amounting to more than $2,000,000.
Gresham announced a special Lifetime Membership deal with the NRA on Thursday, January 10th, via Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/Guntalk. The next day, the deal was sent out in Gresham’s Truth Squad newsletter (http://www.guntalk.com/site7.php). The following Sunday, it was announced live on Gun Talk Radio (http://www.guntalk.com).
“It’s amazing to see the response to this offer,” said Tom Gresham. “Clearly, many people want to support gun rights, and they recognize the value of the NRA. Adding more than six thousand new life members in less than three weeks is incredible. There’s no telling how many will join over the next month.”
The special deal the NRA set up with Gresham is $300 for a life membership — a huge discount from the regular price is $1,000. All one has to do is call 1-888-678-7894. The best part is there’s no waiting on hold – The NRA set up the special number for Friends of Tom, so they can get straight to the membership office. This deal is open to everyone through the end of February.
“It’s great that the NRA was responsive on this,” said Gresham. “I appreciate them setting up a special phone number for us to use.”
