September 21, 2015 – The Kinzua Quality Deer Cooperative was established in 2000 and 15 years later is proving to be a hotspot in PA to hunt quality deer.
Located in the northern tier of PA, the 74,000 acres of public and industrial forest land is a hotspot in the state for deer hunters. The landscape and wildlife within this area has been managed, studied, and improved, and the results are seen by what the deer hunters have been harvesting.
Susan Stout, project leader, and Brad Nelson describes the ongoing process and the quality of deer hunters can expect to see and hunt for.
Also listeners will be invited to a special Deer Season Kickoff event slated for October featuring Karl Miller, a well-known deer biologist.
The program airs on Monday, September 21tst, 2015. Gateway Outdoors is heard every Monday at 6 PM on Connect FM 96.7 and 107.9 FM, live streamed on the Internet, and archived on www.connectradio.fm
