June 6, 2016 – Wildlife habitat within Pennsylvania’s elk range is continually being improved. To keep that momentum moving forward the Keystone Elk Country Alliance has expanded its staff to include Andy Olson, a wildlife biologist.
This week we will be discussing with Andy Olson about public and private partnerships dedicated to providing quality sources of forage for the elk resource. We also discuss the value of the “elk cam” used to see first-hand the forage elk eat, and prefer.
Tune in and learn what is being planted, along with KECA’s growing number of partners.
The program airs on Monday, June 6th, 2016. Gateway Outdoors is heard every Monday at 6 PM on Connect FM 96.7 and 107.9 FM, live streamed on the Internet, and archived at www.connectradio.fm
