Mossy Oak Capture Digital Productions was established in 2017 to capture stories that relay the passion, dedication and importance of time outdoors. The “Family Tree” web series highlights the importance of spending time outdoors with family, as a way to pass on outdoors traditions and keep the pursuit alive.Jeff Shelby is truly grateful for the time and sacrifice his father Bob gave him as he grew up hunting and competing in calling contests. As a way to show his appreciation, Jeff takes his father to the middle of America, the state of Kansas, to hunt waterfowl.
“Jeff followed me around the house all the time. We watched TV together, mostly hunting shows. Finally, he was old enough to go with me,” Bob Shelby shared. “We got out to the field, and he threw up. I thought he was sick, but it was just his nerves, adrenaline. It hit me, he must really love this.”
