POMA Voting media member, Zeke Pipher, announces his new book In Pursuit: Devotions for the Hunter and Fisherman
Hunters and fishermen are always in pursuit of the next catch. As an avid outdoorsman, Zeke Pipher knows that feeling well. With In Pursuit: Devotions for the Hunter and Fisherman, Pipher combines his love for the outdoors with his biblical knowledge as a pastor to invite men to pursue God with the same passion they pursue their sport.
Pipher expertly weaves scriptural truth into true hunting and fishing stories that capture the thrill of the great outdoors. Each reflection is paired with a scripture passage that captures the heart of Pipher’s message and works on the hearts of men who are zealous in their drive to get out on the lake or up in the deer blind. With stories of hunting grizzly bears with only a bow and arrow, fishing in Alaska and enjoying the outdoors with his family, these reflections on the active life help prepare men for success in their pursuit of God and game.
“Whether you’ve been a follower of Christ for a long time or you’re new to the ‘narrow trail,’ you’ll be glad you have a copy of this book because on every page you’ll find directions that will help guide you to higher spiritual ground.”
-from the foreword by Steve Chapman, author of A Look at Life from a Deer Stand
