The DSC event will be held at the Dallas Convention Center and Omni Hotel Dallas on:
2014—Jan. 9-12
2015—Jan. 29-Feb. 1
2016—Jan. 7-10
“We’re excited about our new long-term agreement with the City of Dallas to accommodate our annual convention and expo through 2021,” said Ben Carter, DSC executive director. “DSC enjoys a great relationship with our headquarters city and we look forward to working together to host this important fundraiser for wildlife conservation, education and hunter advocacy programs worldwide.”
The 2013 event, held Jan. 3-6, generated a record $1,010,000 for grants to support the DSC mission.
The DSC convention and expo also is one of the most prominent fundraisers in Texas, listed by the “Dallas Business Journal” as the second largest in the Dallas region. It trails only the HP Byron Nelson Golf Championship.
DSC usually holds its event early each January but the 2015 dates are later. The Dallas Convention Center requested the change, and DSC cooperated, to help facilitate the city’s bid for a college football national championship game and associated events in Dallas.
