The orange ribbon campaign 2 Million Bullets (spearheaded by Camp Compass) has officially signed up 5,000 adults to wear its orange ribbon to support youth in the hunting and shooting sports.

The orange ribbon campaign 2 Million Bullets (spearheaded by Camp Compass) has officially signed up 5,000 adults to wear its orange ribbon to support youth in the hunting and shooting sports.

This past weekend in South Carolina the campaign was able to secure its first membership goal. The target goal of the first year was to test the waters of the hunting and shooting community according to John Annoni founder of the effort. “We weren’t sure how it would be received, but we knew it had to happen for the health of the industry and America”.

The adults who are called Bullets agree to wear an orange ribbon and engage others about its meaning.  Each Bullet is required to give a one dollar commitment as a genuine token of belonging.  “It’s too easy to say I care about kids so we made a program that no one who takes from the hunting and shooting sports should walk away from” Annoni stated.   “Our plan now has roots and we are expecting the critics on all sides of the fence to buy in because this simple message just makes unshakable sense. “   T

he next step is to start to include major businesses who can inform their employees about this call to action campaign.  The plan is to grow our fight exponentially and continue to prove to our youth and noninvolved adults that we care as shooters and hunters about the future of our outdoor traditions.  To start moving this much needed message to the forefront of current issues visit 2millionbullets.org and become a Bullet.
