ATSN’s “Stop the Threat” series has been growing in popularity since it’s premiere episode in 2012. With more citizens, legal gun owners and viewers becoming interested in protecting themselves and their families in the current political climate, Stop the Threat has opened the conversation for a previously neglected subject that could help save lives. This series hosts a round table of expert guest panelists, including self-defense, law and other professionals, moderated by host James B. Towle, as they analyze dramatic, life-threatening, crime scenes reenacted from real crime scenarios happening across the country.

Stop the Threat’s Home Alone episode focuses on a child trained to use a handgun, a controversial subject.  It depicts how a young girl was able to protect herself when an intruder enters the house while she is home alone. Firearms self-dense expert Rob Pincus, Martial Artist Kelly Muir, and Trainer/Instructor Steve Vandermolen comment. Suggestions include ways to further secure the situation and the home. Each Stop the Threat episode focuses on varying real-life scenarios that can happen to anyone and focuses on preparing the viewer in the event they are confronted with an unwanted like encounter. Host James B. Towle advises, “Be safe …be trained …be alert!”

ATSN was born from the already popular radio series Trigger Sports Radio, hosted by James B. Towle. Towle wanted to bring the world of trigger sports to a whole new level by introducing a television show with exclusive coverage from shooting events around the country. Premiering as a live web television series entitled “Trigger Sports LIVE!”, the network now also hosts two series available on DirecTV and DISH Network on the Pursuit Channel, “ATSN Trigger Sports TV” and “Stop the Threat” airing on Fridays at 6:00pm PST and 9:00pm EST.
