Mandeville, LA – Raising awareness for a cure through social media and shooting challenges, reasons to carry every day, and more, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Team Smith & Wesson’s champion shooter Julie Golob visits with Tom this week to issue a shooting challenge in hopes of finding a cure for the autoimmune diseases called Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM) and Juvenile Polymyositis (JPM), collectively known as Juvenile Myositis (JM). Golob’s 11-year-old daughter was diagnosed with JDM in August of 2019, and she’s raising funds and awareness at http://www.juliegolob.com/curejm.
Back in 2015, Cedar Valley Outfitters owner and trainer Ernie Traugh penned a guest column for The Gazette (Iowa) about why he carried a gun every day. Tom recently stumbled across the article, and invited Traugh to talk on Sunday, who just happened to be working on an update to his first column.
