POMA Foundation, Inc. Estate Gifts
POMA Foundation, Inc. recognizes our friends who have included the foundation as a charitable beneficiary of their bequest intentions, retirement accounts, life insurance policies, trusts, and other estate plans. Their foresight will help ensure the future of traditional outdoor communications and the sports that rely on those who tell the story.
Donors are not required to provide information about estate gifts or even notify POMA Foundation, Inc. However, the foundation would like to acknowledge your generosity and hope you will notify us by completing a non-binding Declaration of Intent.
To honor special, planned-giving commitments, the generous individuals are enrolled in the POMA Future Society. If the arrangement is designated as a joint commitment, spouses are also recognized. There are no monetary designations for the POMA Future Society, and contingent designations are also recognized. All donors who complete a Declaration of Intent by Mar. 15, 2011, will be recognized as Charter Members.
If the realized commitment made by a member of the POMA Future Society qualifies for one of POMA’s Lifetime Giving Societies, then the member will qualify for recognition as a member of both the appropriate Lifetime Giving Society and the POMA Future Society.
Estate gifts are deposited into the POMA Foundation Inc.’s Restricted Endowment Trust. These donations become the Trust’s principal and are locked away for the future. Only annual interest income on the principal may be used to fund educational and skill-enhancement programs. Thus, your gifts to the endowment work in perpetuity – year after year, decade after decade and generation after generation.
POMA Foundation, Inc., is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation with a 501(c)3 designation from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. POMA Foundation, Inc. is not a division or subsidiary of the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA). However, funding gifts, for purposes of conducting educational programs, are made to POMA.
