This summer, from August 10 – 13, hundreds of the biggest names in the outdoor industry will be converging on Ogden, Utah, to attend POMA’s annual conference, and you’re invited.
POMA Offers College Students Scholarships to Outdoor Conference
POMA understands the importance of investing in the next generation of outdoor industry leaders. That’s why the organization is waiving all conference attendance fees. Student attendees are responsible for their own lodging and transportation expenses, but everything else is included — special student program, business sessions, networking events, product testing events, meals and more.
If you’ve ever considered a career in the outdoor industry, you may never get a networking opportunity like this again. Forget sending out blind resumes hoping for a response. Come to POMA and rub elbows with some of the top editors, communication experts, public relations gurus, and business owners in the industry.

Students must be:
- enrolled in an accredited college full time
- at least 18 years of age
- studying communications, journalism or a program focused on wildlife management or conservation

POMA will pay the full $220 registration fee for student attendees. All that is required at registration is a $50 refundable deposit.
